Epoxy Resin Artwork by ProVision HandiCrafts
New Resin Artist Tony Suarez and his firm, ProVision HandiCrafts, are making waves in the Epoxy Resin Crafting World. He enjoys resin crafting enormously saying, “working with resin is more than a hobby, but not a job;” adding credibility to the old axiom that if you do what you love – you’ll never work another day in your life.
Epoxy Resin Tabletop
Tony selected ProMarine Supplies Epoxy Resin initially due to his experience with the customer service team being helpful in answering his questions, the fast and free 2-day shipping he received and his interactions with our Facebook Group, Epoxy Resin Fans. His success with the polymer and the project postings in this group (like the table pictured above), inspired us to contact him for this story.
To create the table shown here, Tony used five layers of table top epoxy resin – poured separately – with four hours between each application for curing. Each layer features different tidbits from nature, from sealed wood fragments in the initial phase, to shells, dye and a crystal-clear final pour through subsequent coats of epoxy resin.
Epoxy Resin Wall Art
Tony’s craftsmanship and artistic muse goes beyond tables as demonstrated by the artful wall hangings pictured above and below that hang in his home for family and friends to enjoy. He also creates decorative and practical bowls, as well as aesthetic canvas and wood artwork.
Tony once used the broken tree trunks that were scattered around the area where Hurricane Florence hit – to create a bowl for a friend who had lost many things due to the damage of the storm. We applaud his caring and creativity and wish him continued success! To see more of ProVision HandiCraft’s offerings – visit them on Facebook.
